I think I’m going to go to this writer’s salon, just to break some of my isolation. I’ve been planning to go for months, but I always seem to miss the date.
I don’t have any writing to bring, so I’ll just bring myself, meet other writers, and see what it’s all about. Maybe there will be cookies.

Cool! I’ve never heard of a writer’s salon. What is that? Just a meet and greet sort of thing? Networking?

I’m not sure how this one will be. I think people read a little from each other’s writing and/ or provide feedback. But I was hurting too much to go. Poop. I’ll try again next month.

This sounds interesting. I bet you’ll be the best writer there. Poetry slams look fun, but I’ve never been to one.
